Tennis Information

The Holyoke Canoe Club offers one of the best outdoor tennis venues in the Pioneer Valley. We have eight well-maintained clay courts, two newly-surfaced hard courts, and a backboard area, as well as comfortable court-side seating and locker room facilities.  The hard court nets remain up during the winter for hearty members willing to brave the cold.

Our long tennis season starts in early spring and goes well into the fall, and the courts are in use from sunrise to sunset. The schedule includes tournaments and socials. Our Club pro offers private and group instruction for adults, children, and families.

Contact Ben Thompson if you would like to be added to the "Racquet Sports" email list: There are some great events planned.

Jay Kilbourn and Charlie Hruska have organized a tennis ladder.  If interested, email or

The two hard tennis courts have pickleball lines and 4 movable pickleball nets.  There is a pickleball group that plays on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM.  Contact Jane Andreesen to be added to the pickleball email list and for all pickleball related questions:
